If you guys are confused about the whole second and main body of Yue Chan it is simple. As Yue Chan explains, she is the clone of Yue Chan, her name is actually Qing Yi when Yue Chan tries to merge with her, Qing Yi will rape Shi Hao in order to shock Yue Chan and kill her. Yue Chan will then separate and flee, while trying to cleanse herself of being tarnished. however due to this Yue Chan will always feel "hot" when she sees Shi Hao. Qing Yi on the other hand, after doing the deed wanted to stop but Shi Hao decides to punish her for using him and raping him, so he rapes her instead
The reason why Yue Chan has a clone is because when the clone becomes more powerful and returns to the main body, all the experience and power is also merged, making the main body much more stronger. Since Qing Yi is in the lower realm and Yue Chan is in the upper realm Yue Chan will always be stronger than Qing Yi, and as such when they merge, Qing Yi will cease to exist

gotta say im not happy with the whole raping thing especially from the main character but its not up to me to comment on the writer vision. there are very few things that i hate more in this world and it always makes my blood boil just thinking about it. But as i've said its a story and that's how it was written

On the part of Qing Yi, she wanted to keep her life and to kill Yue Chan, so she uses her own body to umm ride Shi Hao, it then causes Yue Chan to flee, and the Qing Yi remove herself from Shi Hao, but Shi Hao feeling used decides to teach her a lesson, it was non consensual yet she doesnt stop him, she could have fled as well, and it went on for a while, I still call it rape, since there was an element of non consent even though she didnt say no. It is kind of like this wedding, she didnt want to since she was coerce into it, yet she did follow through the wedding, with her status as a Saint Maiden and her pride, she could have put her feet down and refused to, just like she did when some men went after her and she refused their advances by attacking them

That said, the studio will probably change that scene, just like they will for Xiao Yan and Medusa

But I can't say about Shi Hao and Xiao Yan they are every mans dream having more than one spouses Shi Hao having QingYi/YueChan, Huo Ling'er and YunXi as Wife while Xiao Yan having Medusa and Xun'er as Wife.

I have to add that SH at that time was immobilised. The bad Yue Chan sealed his power and chained his soul to his body to prevent him from escaping. SH was badly injured from a failed cultivation upgrade and Yue Chan kidnapped him by pretending to be Qing Yi. SH naturally was not dubious against Qing Yi hence he let his guard down.

After reading @Dase’s comment, it suddenly struck me that Perfect World really doesn’t do romance. To those who expect some lovey dovey scene, I’m sure you guys will be disappointed.

It was fine for me as I’ve read the novel and I know the direction of the novel is a bit male-centric. But this is also the reason why I enjoy PW so much because it’s not like Soul Land (no offence to all the bunny fans), the life of the MC Tang San revolves around Xiao Wu while Shi Hao’s #1 quest is to get stronger in order to find Willow God and fight alongside with her. His biggest fear is to lose everyone he cares for because he saw a vision that he will be the only one left in the world. It will be a long and lonely road to the summit and everyone else will have already perished. Yeah, it’s a very dark and gripping theme the story is heading.

But on the brighter side, there’s fun, adventure and lots of good humour. Just for these reasons alone, I’m not going anywhere and don’t wanna miss out on this heck of a ride.

lol Chen Dong's romances is a bit lacking I agree, there are some splashes here mulberry tree and there, flirting here and there, but in terms of real romance like Xiao Yan and Xun'er. Tang San and Hu Liena (Yeah I know supposed to be Xiao Hu, get it? Wu Hu? lol) and the couples in the Seven Shrek, Perfect World isnt like that at all.

Most cultivation novels are 35% fight, 30% story, 10% humour, 10% romance and 15% fluff, and I say most, not all lol

Then Chen Dong’s Perfect World must be 45% fight, 20% story, 20% fluff, 14% humour and 1% romance. Lol!!

Well, I will be honest, the wedding scene seems useless to me, it taking so much screen time, I want the fight scenes more. They should have did a quick one so I can see more action. Especially, considering that nothing up to my expectations happened in the the wedding scene. Not to be a total prick or anything, cause I know that some kids also watch this show.

yeah i dont agree..we had lots of fights already and all of them were pretty awesome but a good show needs a balance between fight scenes, dialogue, world building and character development otherwise it becomes boring and repetitive. personally im quite pleased with how things evolved so far. I cant ask too much from chinese studios ..they are still young and have allot to learn but this donghua is one of the best ones

I get your POV from the standpoint of just wanting to get back to the action ASAP, as I definitely am usually the exact same way. But considering this donghua is already rather lopsided when it comes to fight scenes and whatnot compared to other shows (not complaining at all) I don't really mind if they spend a little extra time on the wedding, seeing as how it is signifying a pretty big event in Shi Hao's story. Of course this is just my opinion 😋
